Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Garlic Butter Steak Bites

1 top sirloin steak

2 teaspoons olive oil

2 tablespoons salted butter

3-4 cloves garlic, finely minced

¼ cup parsley, finely chopped

¼ cup grated parmesan

Salt and black pepper to taste

Remove any thick fat from the edges of the steak and cut the meat into 1 inch x 1 inch cubes.

Heat a heavy bottomed skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the steak cubes in a single layer, making sure there is room between each piece. Cook for 3-4 minutes before turning to the other side, stir after a couple of minutes to brown most of the sides without overcooking. It’s okay if some sides are not fully browned. Lower the heat to low and add in the butter and garlic, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat the steak. Remove from the heat once the butter is fully melted. Add the parmesan and parsley and toss together. Serve as a snack or over mashed potatoes or rice.
